Program Practica!
Program Practica! will be developed in consultation with the operator as a follow up program.
The primary objective will be to provide an avenue to put theory into practice.
As an example, take the course on SS7. We will complement any existing SS7 theory course by providing hands-on SS7 practice curriculum.
Such curriculum is proposed to be initially, classroom based, led by our trainer (in English).
Typical topics covered will be (example):
SS7 ISUP
- Practical examples of ISUP use
- Typical uses: Calling card, ISDN, Tandem switching
- Use in fixed line networks, in mobile networks
- Various ISUP related signalling, e.g. ACM, ANM etc and their everyday use
- Adaptation of ISUP into various value added services, e.g. use of ATI for Location Based Services, Ringback Tone
- Actual snapshots of switches, network operations
SS7 MAP
- Practical examples of MAP use
- Typical uses: GSM mobile signalling
- Various MAP related sub messages, e.g. ISD, SRI etc and subsystems, e.g. SSN6, 8 etc and their everyday use
- Adaptation of MAP into various value added services, e.g. Number Portability, Antispam, Missed Call Alert
Program Practica! is designed to be an ongoing program for 12 months.
